♥My "Pretty Little Goddess"♥

Last February 26,2011 was my daughters JS PROM. Their school, ALBERT EINSTEIN SCHOOL has been known for conducting unique proms every year. Each year has a theme, this years theme was God's & Goddesses/Gladiators.   I was delighted to see my daughter turned into a beautiful goddess that night. I wanna share some pictures:

Photography

In Photography, you learn to see by practice. It's just like playing tennis, you get better the more you play. The more you look around at things, the more you see. The more you photograph, the more you realize what can be photographed and what can't be photographed. You just have to keep doing it. I'm using a Nikon D5000 with kit lens only. But I'm saving for a new lens. Hopefully, makakabili this year. Hindi ko kasi sya priority.  For now, I am enjoying it na lang muna ang later on baka makapag-upgrade din. Here are some of my photos:

HK Trip with my kiddos!

When I finally revealed my surprise to my kids, they we're very happy! As in very, very HAPPY!!! Hongkong Disneyland is every child's dream! We arrived in HK October 27,2010 via Cebu Pacific's 50% off promo. Big savings for us. I travelled with my three kids ages 12, 10 & 6 years old. At first I was nervous because it was my first time to travel with minors. My previous international travels were with my parents & my sisters. But thanks to this thread http://pinoyexchange.com/forums/showthread.php?t=484839, All questions & inquiries were answered by them. I felt like I was an expert in HK! hehe! :) Sa mga pioneer ng thread na ito, thank you very much. Ang laki ng naitutulong niyo. Keep up the good work guys.  Anyway, I want to share our 4 days 3 nights ITINERARY.
DAY 1:
11:30AM- Check in sa Hotel.
We stayed at LARGOS HOTEL, 30 Nanking Street, Jordan, Kowloon, HK. Accessible sya kasi walking distance lang from JORDAN MTR Station.
1:00PM- We went to Ocean Park. Nakakapagod ikutin ito. But since the kids were very excited, nakaya naming ikutin kasi up to the highest level ang energy nila. They enjoyed naman. We had lunch na rin there, madami namang fast food sa loob ng park and it was not cheap, mahal nga ng food sa HK.
6:00PM-Back to Hotel
We had dinner at a nearby restaurant then naglakad lakad sa labas. Grabbed some groceries din at a nearby grocery store. May money exchange din sa opposite kanto nito and Pinay yung nandun.

feeling close!

Merry Go Round. I had to join them. (Bawal ang KJ)
Magalang na bata.
Seriously reading the map.
cable car ride
DAY 2:
8:00AM- Breakfast @McDonald's. One Block away from our hotel.
O di ba sosyal, may sariling fan ang hot choco niya. haha! :)
9:00AM-City Tour
1st stop: Avenue of Stars. As usual Picture picture...

2nd Stop: Jewelry Factory: A waste of time, wala namang makikita dun kundi mga jewelries na ipipilit ibenta sa inyo. hehe! Tama nga talaga itong suggestion sa thread:

WHY YOU DO NOT NEED TO JOIN A STRINGS-ATTACHED PACKAGE TOUR FOR HONG KONG

- Compulsory city tours WASTE YOUR TIME on useless places like jewelry factories
- You will most likely be left with half a day to enjoy Disneyland or Ocean Park
- You will be pressured to buy overpriced souvenirs and jewelry
- Hong Kong is very tourist friendly with the BEST public transportation system
- Almost all signs are bilingual and you will hardly get lost
- Their airport provides free maps which are very useful
- You have this thread to help you iron out any problems you may have
- DO NOT be afraid of getting lost, as long as you have a map (and money), there won't be problems.

3rd Stop: Jumbo Floating Restaurant: Another waste of time & money! Makikita mo lng dun mga yate. Hmmmp! Well, ok lng nag-enjoy nman mga bata sumakay..

FINAL STOP: HongKong Disneyland
At last we finally arrived in Disneyland na. Malaki ang park. Kulang ang time namin and mahaba ang pila sa mga rides kasi when we went there eh weekend so marami talagang tao. We had lunch & dinner na rin there. In fairness, hindi masarap ang food. Iba pa rin ang lutong pinoy. We stayed until the Fireworks which was worth the wait kasi ang ganda.

for merienda, we had egg tarts & chicken turnover
our tickets
yummy baked goods

The parade

Magsisimula na ang Fireworks display

Day 3:
9:00AM- We went to CITYGATE OUTLETS in Tung Chung. Shopping ng konte. Mura ng crocs dito. Bought some for my kids & pasalubong.

May COACH factory din dito at nakabili rin ako @ a discounted price.

After Tung Chung, We went to TSIM SHA TSUI na, we had lunch there na at Pinay uli ang waitress.

The shoes that we bought were priced @3k plus sa Robinson's while we bought it here for almost 2k lang.

We're looking for H&M store here and I was talking to myself " Saan kaya ang H&M dito?" Biglang may sumagot, tawid kau sa kabilang kanto, makikita niyo dun H&M store. Wow! Overall, our HK trip was great. The kids had a great time. Question? Will you still come back to HK? Definitely, YES!
PAHABOL:
Get some brochures sa AIRPORT, makakatulong sa buong trip niyo.

Somebody might want to have these 4 McDonalds Breakfast Coupon for free, email nyo lang po ako. Hindi na namin nagamit nung last day namin.
